Sangmin Kim assists clients with legal advice on a broad range of compliance concerns and other issues relating to Korea's various laws and regulations governing environment, occupational safety, ESG, and energy & natural resources.Prior to joining Lee & Ko, Ms. Kim worked as in-house counsel in the Global Legal Affairs Team of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. In such capacity, she acquired extensive experience in various types of cross-border corporate and commercial transactions, entertainment businesses, and regulatory compliance issues in the areas of environmental law and technology, media & telecommunications law.

Ms. Kim holds a J.D. from Seoul National University School of Law and an LL.M. from Stanford Law School. She is admitted to the Korean Bar and is expected to be admitted to the New York State Bar as well in 2023.
