Dae Keun Cho is an Advisor in Lee & Ko’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) Practice Group, with over 25 years of experience in telecommunications and ICT regulatory policies. He is a recognized expert in regulatory frameworks governing online platforms, telecommunications competition, ICT user protection policies, and personal data protection. Mr. Cho advises clients on a wide range of legal and policy issues in the internet and ICT sectors, including domestic and cross-border regulations, legislative developments, and dispute resolution. He has in-depth expertise in global ICT regulatory systems, with a particular focus on the EU (including its member states), North America (including U.S. & Canada), and Asia (including Japan and Australia).
Before joining Lee & Ko in 2022, Mr. Cho served as Executive Consultant and Co-CEO of a leading ICT consulting firm, where for more than 10 years he led major policy and regulatory research projects for government agencies, public institutes, government-affiliated organizations, and ICT companies.
He also actively participates in expert forums and working groups for improving ICT policies hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Communications Commission.
He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Graduate School of Public Policy at Sogang University.
