After serving as a public prosecutor for 16 years, including as Senior Prosecutor of the Anti-Corruption Investigation Department at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, Juncheol Jeon joined Lee & Ko's criminal defense group in 2021.He served as Senior Prosecutor of the Anti-Corruption Investigation Department I and II at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, Special Chief Prosecutor for the Suwon Special Prosecutor's Office, Legal Advisor for the Human Rights Division of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, Special Chief Prosecutor for the Daejeon District Prosecutors' Office, and legal advisor for investigation at the Prosecutor's Office. During his tenure at the Prosecutor's Office, Juncheol Jeon acquired extensive experience and excellent reputation, particularly in the fields of corporate embezzlement and malpractice, accounting irregularities, M&A related fraud, health care, tax and major accidents. He is also prominent in securities and finance area. He was with the Finance & Tax Investigation Department of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office for two and a half years and was in charge of training prosecutors from special investigation teams in the securities and finance sectors for six years at the Judicial Research & Training Institute.
