Sung Han Lee is a senior advisor/consultant at Lee & Ko for issues relating to law enforcement and police agency matters. Prior to joining Lee & Ko, Mr. Lee served in the Korean National Police Agency (KNPA) for 33 years, retiring as KNPA Commissioner General (Chief of Police) in 2014. At the KNPA, he acquired extensive experience in various fields, having worked in the criminal investigation, counterintelligence, and traffic divisions of the KNPA, as well as serving as the Civil and Public Security Affairs Secretary in the Office of the President of Korea. During his distinguished career as KNPA Commissioner General, Sung Han Lee significantly contributed to the strengthening of capabilities involving advanced investigation techniques, especially in the areas of white collar crime and international crimes. After retiring from the KNPA, he has lectured on related subjects at Dongguk University. His recent public service has also included serving as Comptroller and Auditor General at Korea Electric Power Corporation for two years, where he was responsible for improving transparency and anti-corruption policies.
