Eui Yeon Jo is a partner at Lee & Ko. Ms. Jo primarily focuses her practice on the field of Banking and Finance with a particular emphasis on Acquisition Finance. She handles domestic and international finance transactions, including leveraged-buyout financing, securitizations of receivables or real estate, project financing, trade financing and other structured financing. Some of her most notable recent transactions include advising the arrangers of (i) KRW 1 trillion financing for the acquisition of Kabam, Inc. by Netmarble Games Corporation, (ii) KRW 791 billion financing for the acquisition of Ssangyong Cement Industrial Co., Ltd. by Hahn & Company, (iii) KRW 1,941 billion financing for the acquisition of Halla Visteon Climate Control Corp. by Hahn & Company and Hankook Tire Co., Ltd., (iv) KRW 985 billion financing for the acquisition of ADT Korea by the Carlyle Group and (v) KRW 818 billion financing for the acquisition of ING Life Insurance by MBK Partners. Ms. Jo received her LL.B. and LL.M. from the Seoul National University and completed her Ph.D course at the Seoul National University, Graduate School of Law. She was admitted to the Korean bar in 2006.
