Hyung Soo Lee is a partner in the Corporate and M&A Practice Group. His primary practice areas include Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Governance, Cross-Border Investment, and international Arbitration & Litigation. Prior to joining Lee & Ko in 2018, Mr. Lee worked as one of the core members of the corporate practice group of HMP Law. Over the course of his career, Mr. Lee has represented, among others, Lone Star Funds, Korea Exchange Bank, Shinhan Bank, Munich Reinsurance, Lei Shing Hong, Fresenius Medical Care, Merck, Robert Bosch, Kemira, R. Stahl, Dongbu, Lufthansa, Icelandic Group, Giesecke & Devrient, GEA Group, Plansee Group, Amadeus, Dow Chemical, SK Global Chemical, KAKO, KUKA, Webasto, KFW IPEX-Bank, OWR, Samsung Life Insurance, Eckes-Granini Group, Juniper, Korea Airport Corporation, Yuhan-Kimberly, Kimberly-Clark, and Geistlich Pharma. Mr. Lee holds an LL.B. from Korea University and an LL.M. from University of Pennsylvania Law School. Mr. Lee also studied at the Wharton School.
